Agata Słowak
Agata Słowak (1994) is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, a visual artist, painter and author of spatial objects and fabrics, laureate of Coming Out Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw 2019.
In her work, she combines autobiographical threads with feminism, issues in the field of cultural anthropology and the motif of ritual and magic as forms of transferring knowledge and creating communities.
The artist's work was presented by Metro Pictures Gallery (Newy York, 2021), Foksal Gallery Foundation (Warsaw, 2020), Museum of Modern Art (Warsaw, 2019), Salon Akademii Gallery (Warsaw, 2019), Wystawa Gallery (Warsaw, 2018) and BSCK (Busko Zdrój, 2018).
